Monday July 9th, 2012, Barrister Executive Suites, Inc. helped the Alex Thomas Foundation raise funds to prevent pediatric cancer at ATF’s Third Annual Golf Classic. The Alex Thomas Foundation is dedicated to supporting families who may need financial, emotional and inspirational support as they seek treatment and a cure for their child’s illness.
Barrister Executive Suites, Inc. strongly supports all efforts to raise money for the fight against cancer. The ATF Golf Classic began with a meet and greet with over 25 celebrities and professional athletes who came to show their support. Attendees included actor Don Cheadle, actor, producer and retired NBA player Rick Fox and Buffalo Bills quarterback Vince Young, to name a few.
And then the games began. Barrister Executive Suites, Inc. was proud to be one of the sponsors of the tournament. The day ended with a live and silent auction. Included were incredible items such as a signed Derek Jeter photo and an autographed 1992 Dream Team Limited Edition Masterpiece Collage featuring Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.
Barrister staff was so happy to be in attendance. It was an amazing event for survivors, those who have lost a loved one to cancer and those who want to make a difference. Carrie Gates, Barrister’s Vice President, Leasing and Marketing, stated “It was a fantastic day for a worthy cause. We look forward to participating in future tournaments.” In a Tweet to Carrie Gates, Alex Thomas said “Thanks for your support, we’re gonna do it bigger and better next year!”
